“Baker Victory Services is voluntarily surrendering five residential sites for individuals with developmental disabilities.
The nonprofit organization began notifying staff and client families Tuesday it would downsize its programs in cooperation with the state Office for People with Developmental Disabilities.
Plans call for a phased transition, with the agency surrendering the sites to other agencies. Sites to be transferred include the St. Agnes and St. Joseph intermediate care facilities (ICF) on the Ridge Road campus; and individualized residential alternative (IRA) group homes on Hertel Avenue, Palm and two in Lancaster. The five sites, which house about 40 residents, represent about a third of Baker Victory’s total developmental disabilities residential programs.”
